2026 "Growing Pains"

Saarah is a Computer Science major at UNLV, with minors in Creative Writing and Psychology. She hopes to pursue a career with a mix of all three, melding humanities into technical fields. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and baking.

Lyla is a senior at the UNLV Honors College, and she's double-majoring in psychology and political science. She has two siblings, and her favorite sports are cricket and F1. In the future, she hopes to do something law-related. She has been a part of the team for over two years. 

SJ is a senior at UNLV majoring in English and minoring in Film with the Honors College. They hope to peruse a job in freelance and nonprofit document management writing. They work as a Construction Coordinator for a nonprofit organization over the summers, elevating their experience in nonprofit work. They spend their time writing, reading, and spending time with their cats.

Daniel is a Senior at UNLV majoring in Biology with a pre-professional concentration in Pharmacy. Daniel enjoys weightlifting, playing electric guitar, and writing poetry. He is currently working on his first poetry collection and a metal EP. Daniel also hopes to get back into diving this summer.

Sarah is a junior at UNLV majoring in English and minoring in philosophy and Spanish. She hopes to pursue a PhD in English literature in the future and eventually become a professor. Outside of school, she enjoys singing, reading, and writing.

Isabella is a senior at UNLV majoring in information systems with a minor in public policy. She hopes to pursue a career that blends her analytical skills to develop policies that help her community. Outside of her studies, she enjoys writing and photography.

Dr. Jerinic is an Associate Professor in the UNLV Honors College where she has taught since 2005. She offers courses in writing and literature and enjoys discussing books and writing projects with her students.
