Vlada Stark

Editor in Chief

Vlada Stark is majoring in biology with a pre-professional concentration at UNLV. She enjoys writing dystopian fiction, reading various forms of literature, listening to music, and occasionally painting. Her dream is to become a published novelist while also working in a medical specialty she finds joy in. After collaborating with several indie zines during quarantine, she was inspired to start a review journal at UNLV's Honors College. 

Tracy Fuentes

Managing Editor

Tracy Fuentes is double majoring in English and political science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is also the co-founder and co-chief editor of Kindergarten Mag. She aspires to become a professor, librarian, and novelist - yes, all three. When Tracy is not studying, you can find her watching movies and anime, reading manga and novels, or thrifting with her friends.

Safiyya "Saff" Bintali

Saff Bintali is majoring in English (with a concentration in creative writing) and secondary education at UNLV. In her free time, she likes to read, study classic cars and astronomy (stars, AGNs, and planetary formation, particularly), and explore hiking trails around Nevada.

Emma Coleman is studying biochemistry and global entrepreneurship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She enjoys writing poetry as well as fiction and wishes to publish her work in the future. She enjoys various activities that take her mind off of schooling like reading, playing games, and watching movies.

Jacquelyn Rodriguez is studying psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and boyfriend, playing with her dog, and finding cute cafés around the city. One day, she hopes to start a mental health-based Zine to empower college students around the country.

Chao Magtangob is studying graphic design & media at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In their free time, they like to play video games, watch movies, and make digital art. Chao hopes to become a video game artist one day and eventually develop their own video game.

Ashley Brooke Fuentes is in her third year at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She enjoys writing, reading, making art, and watching movies. You will most likely run into her at Brew Tea Bar or challenging someone to a game of Just Dance.

Summer is a history major who loves drawing and painting whenever possible. She draws inspiration particularly from landscapes and scenes from her everyday life. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, thrifting, and having picnics with her friends. 

Dr. Maria Jerinic

Faculty Advisor

Dr. Jerinic is an Associate Professor in the UNLV Honors College where she has taught since 2005. She offers courses in writing and literature and enjoys discussing books and writing projects with her students.
