Lila Salvacion has been with From the Brush since 2022! She is a healthcare administration major. She's a fashion and cat lover. On her pass time, she makes her own art, works outs or plays tennis, and collects trinkets. She's always on the hunt for hobbies, which is why she hopes our magazine inspires people to create and share their amazing works!

Noor is a recent UNLV graduate, earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She enjoys reading, writing, charcoal drawing, and playing soccer. She joined From the Brush to connect with other creative students. She looks forward to reviewing your submissions to the journal!

Samara is a sophomore double majoring in Art and Film. Her ultimate goal is to create her own animated show with the story and characters she makes now. Samara loves creating things regardless of the material but most often draws and crochets. She joined the team to be more involved in the Honors College and loved From the Brush for the opportunity it provides artists and writers to share their work!

Clarissa Pimentel is currently studying psychology at UNLV. They aspire to be a licensed therapist and a published author. During their free time, they love to write poetry, bake cookies, and watch pro-wrestling!

Saarah is a current junior studying computer science at UNLV. She is interested in creative writing, music, films, and reading!

Summer is a history major who loves drawing and painting whenever possible. She draws inspiration particularly from landscapes and scenes from her everyday life. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring new places around town. 

Lyla is a junior at the UNLV Honors College, and she's double-majoring in psychology and political science. She has two siblings, and her favorite sports are cricket and F1. In the future, she hopes to do something with writing and social justice. Right now, she is learning how to crochet and knit.

Dr. Jerinic is an Associate Professor in the UNLV Honors College where she has taught since 2005. She offers courses in writing and literature and enjoys discussing books and writing projects with her students.
