2025 "Dream"

Lila Salvacion is a senior at UNLV and has been with From the Brush since the second issue. She is a healthcare administration major. She's also a fashion and cat lover. On her pass time, she makes her own art, works outs or plays tennis, and collects trinkets. She's always on the hunt for hobbies, which is why she hopes the From the Brush journal inspires people to create and share their meaningful works.

Noor is a recent UNLV graduate, earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences. She enjoys reading, writing, charcoal drawing, and playing soccer. She joined From the Brush her senior year to connect with other creative students. She looks forward to reviewing your submissions to the journal!

Samara is a sophomore double majoring in Art and Film. Her ultimate goal is to create her own animated show with the story and characters she makes now. Samara loves creating things regardless of the material but most often draws and crochets. She joined the team to be more involved in the Honors College and loved From the Brush for the opportunity it provides artists and writers to share their work.

Saarah is a current junior studying computer science at UNLV. She is interested in creative writing, music, films, and reading.

Lyla is a junior at the UNLV Honors College, and she's double-majoring in psychology and political science. She has two siblings, and her favorite sports are cricket and F1. In the future, she hopes to do something with writing and social justice. As of lately, she has been learning how to crochet and knit.

Summer is a history major who loves drawing and painting whenever possible. She draws inspiration particularly from landscapes and scenes from her everyday life. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, thrifting, and having picnics with her friends. 

Dr. Jerinic is an Associate Professor in the UNLV Honors College where she has taught since 2005. She offers courses in writing and literature and enjoys discussing books and writing projects with her students.
